Coach Govinds analysis : Stallions

Stallions - Current Squad (Ashish, Santhosh, Ankur, Hemanth (C), Srikanth, Amyn, Syed,  Lucky). Few good players are gone. Sudhakar G from pick up is one of them.

Team Background - Played as Gangnam style last season in 2016. Me and Chinmay Pande moved to Cornered Tigers from this team so I have a fair idea that I have shared below. Team with high spirit but can easily be pulled on negative spirits if they get demotivated by opponents scoring early boundaries putting them under concern (their damp bowling line up).

Batting Line up -    Our (CT) line up is way ahead of strength if we score at 10 runs per over for at least 5 overs. This will bring down their morale. Mind game will work here.

Ashish (Opener, left handed - scores slow but is stable) - Good to get him out in 1st 5 overs
Santhosh (Hard hitter, always aims for long on or long off boundaries) - falls prey for low full  toss with pace or slow balls - to be removed asap
Ankur (If connects, can be trouble as he can clear boundaries well - can easily be distracted by words and pressure) - to be removed asap
Amyn (Idea man of the team, Vice-captain - Not a scoring batsman but will ensure his wicket won't fall if situation demands)
Syed, Lucky - Never played with these players. I hear that Syed might be a good batsman to watch out for.

Bowling Line up -  With no doubt our lineup is the best but we should put our thoughts first when we know our opponents so well. If we bowl first or second we must destroy them with pace, pace, pace & maintaining length.

Santhosh (Right arm fast)  - Swings the ball with pace. Good pace and comes straight to wicket. Our top 5 should ensure that we don’t give up the wickets but ensure to score tactically. Can ball wides, watch out for extras.
Ashish (Left arm medium pace) - Easy to score for batsman who can drive, try to play ground shots as he spins the ball also.
Syed - Never played with him but I am told he is good medium pace bowler.
Amyn (Right arm medium pace) - Changes pace too much. Can ball wides, watch out for extras.
Have not seen others bowling but should not be taken lightly. Always watch out for the 1st 2 balls to settle down.

Takeaways for us - Stallions are team with high spirit but can easily be pulled on negative spirits if they get demotivated by opponents scoring early boundaries.
If we bowl first or second we must destroy them with pace, pace, pace & maintaining line & length.

Regards,

Govind
